As promised, I’ve been deep in research mode on my next Memory supply chain post but I saw something this week I had to share with my subscribers first.

You may have heard: Cerebras ($CBRS) IPO’d this week and has gathered a lot of attention. For those unfamiliar, Cerebras is primarily known for developing the world’s largest and fastest AI computer chips. Uniquely designed to accelerate AI training and inference by using entire silicon wafers rather than cutting them into smaller, individual processors. Their unique approach aims to eliminate the data-movement bottlenecks of traditional GPU clusters, with a focus on delivering high-speed, low-latency AI performance.

SemiAnalysis is one of my favorite institutional-grade semiconductor publications in the world! Their work is consistently top-tier and gives excellent market color for the semiconductor industry and AI infrastructure.

This past week, they dropped a deep-dive: “Cerebras — Faster Tokens Please.” And while reading it, I realized something the rest of the market is going to miss:

Cerebras is long memory.

This post is tailored to walk you through how, why, and what it means for the Memory market. Enjoy!
